I bought a geforce 7600 GS just to play this game. But it freezes, I thought I had more than the requirements for the game, but I don't know.
It keeps freezing. I"m running the DX9 version btw.

P4 3.40 Ghz
Geforce 7600GS 512 MB

First make sure you have the current drivers for your graphics card.
Drop the graphics settings inside the game, when you play it, don't have any other apps running (ie browsers, messengers, etc)
If that still isn't enough. click Start>Run>msconfig check selective startup. Take everything out of the loop besides your AV and firewall.
If that still doesn't do anything, I'd say invest in another gig of RAM.

because you basically need 2G to game period anymore. And when the game uses up the RAM on your video card, it looks to the physical RAM for help in rendering. If its bogged down with holding onto settings and things for other apps then it cant do its job very well. So are you on XP or Vista btw?

Xp, Btw, When it runs for the first 10 minutes before it freezes, it runs beautifully, No lags no nothing, but then freezes suddenly.

This may also be a sign of overheating. I think I've seen some 7600gs without fans, does yours have one?
