In all honesty and respect, you shouldn't try over clocking even if you have a HowTo, as each computer is different.

HP like most all other computer manufacturers lock the BIOS so that the owner can't overclock it. This is a warranty issue, it is too easy to develop problems by overclocking.
I believe what cryptodan was eluding to is that overclocking can be dangerous to your computer, even if you are able to get it overclocked without any overheating or stability issues there is a trade off on the longevity of the computer in some cases. Should you try this? That's your decision. There are tutorials that you can find by googling, I would read as much as I could to fully understand what all is involved and how to do it before attempting this.
