Hi everyone,

Hoping you can help because I'm going out of my mind with frustration over stuff.

I have perfectly legitimate store bought copies of the following games.

Sid Meier's Pirates
Dawn Of War
Act of War
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Deluxe

None of which I can get to work because of so called 'Securom protection'.

Securom, never reply to my emails, Atari never reply to my emails and I don't trust these so called. 'how to fix the securom issue sites'.

Can somebody help and lead me by the nose as to what I need to be doing, please shout if you need any diag files etc.

thanks
Simon

Are any error messages coming up? DRM is annoying (and, depending on who you ask, ineffective) and can cause heaps of problems.

I had that happen to me with The Sims 2. I had no disc emulation software installed. Sometimes, I had to try and launch the game from it's launcher, get denied access then go into the game's directory and start the game there. Sometimes it works, other times I have to try repeatedly. I really don't like DRM, especially StarForce.

if you own the game, its perfectly legal to crack it. As linux users already know all too well. Unfortunately the posting of a very good place to get such files safely would be against the rules of the forum so i'll code the URL, if you can figure it out, good. Its literally 3 words crammed together with a com at the end. MONOPOLYduplicateEARTH
