I also agree with garmanma, if the problem with the mounting screw was due to being overtightened, it could cause future reliability problems. If there's just a spot where the screw head or chassis standoff shorts to a signal trace on the surface of the board, a fibre insulating washer should be used. If the board was crushed by the pressure and an internal short between board layers resulted, that screw should be left with almost no tension on it, preferably also with a fibre washer, to reduce stress on the board.
