I thought you'd never ask, kaizersoze.

It means you can shop at garage sales and pick up a CD for 10 cents
that contains a program intended for win95 called LIFE.

put in your CD-rom or whatever and view
the covers of the Life Magazine from 1936 -1972 in windows mpeg format.

If you want it I'll send it to ya'. :flowers:

I've got a similar CD, it's by Time-Life a sort of encyclopedia of history illustrated with images from Life magazine. It was really good, except that history stopped at around 1978 (even though it was bought in ~1995)

I wonder if there is a modern equivalent? (Please don't tell me it's Encarta!)

To link to another post, you must copy and paste the HTTP: link to the post (or the thread) to your text box, and then surround the link with a BBC code.
Instructions for referencing a URL code can be found towards the bottom of Scarlett's post here:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic34715.html

If you have Firefox, you can "cheat" and use the BBCodeXtra extension for formatting your posts.

Regards,
John

Thank you John.

Out of curiosity, Have you read Man's Search for Meaning, by Viktor Frankl?
