Is it normal for the ac adapter to emit a very faint high pitched and constant ringing sound? I just noticed this yesterday as I had to reach down to plug it into a socket. It's really faint and you can only hear it when you put your ear a few centimeters next to it ... but it isn't silent.
So far, I've left the laptop running to check and the battery still charges properly and there are no fluctuations or power interruptions of any sort. While the adapter gets warm, it doesn't get unbearably hot.
Anyway, just wanted to know if it is normal.. and if so, what is the cause?
Thanks
