I have several flash drives which are instantly recognised on other computers. When I plug them into my own machine, I get the Windows sound but they do not show up in My Computer unless I reinsert them several times. I have numerous USB ports but get the same result on each.

Any idea why.

Sometimes Windows has trouble assigning drive letters to USB flash drives.

Thanks eeffoc

Installed the .msi instead of the .zip which had me scratching my head for a while, but have remedied that and made a new .ini so it will be interesting to see how it goes.

Thanks for the link. Cheers
