What will a server accomplish...that your present setup doesn't...or that using a router would not accomplish?

This looks like what you want, http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/n...tt_02may20.mspx
Not that I know much about networking or computers...but I suspect that a router with multiple ports might serve your needs/desires as well as a server-based home network. Good luck Louis |

Why do you feel you need a server?
Please explain what you mean by "manage everyone" Do you want a place to store files and share with all PC's? Are you thinking you need a proxy server to filter adult sites? There's a ton more questions I can ask, but it would be easier if you tell us your end goal. -------------------- |
