Have just installed Bit defender antivirus on my daughter's computer, on a friend's recommendation. It seems to be doing its stuff... but would value the BC community's opinion. Although I notice it is sometimes recommended for on ine scanning there is little I/ve come up with otherwise.
Thanks
Lulabelle

Its not a bad antivirus. Its not one that I would NOT recommend if that helps. Its really hard to say one is better than the other . I personally use AVG free.

Bitdefender has excellent scores in several tests. Mostly BD ends in top 3!
Check this site: http://anti-virus-software-review.toptenreviews.com/
I run bitdefender, NOD32 and Kaspersky (triple Boot).
Test it yourself on: http://www.eicar.org/anti_virus_test_file.htm
