I understand the motives behind Google's entry into the browser market, but it certainly seems that a far better product could have been produced, just as quickly, by collaborating with Mozilla. For now, it remains an interesting experiment, but no substitute for Firefox.

When loading sites and then loading pages on that site, it was like WOW
I thought it real fast.
I do love I.E. but, when chrome comes out of the Beta stage
I will down load it again. (I don't trust thing in BETA)

One thing I have noticed as a bit of a glitch when using Chrome (which I hope they change the name), is that when I bring up my Web Interface page for my router (wrt300n) and try to enter the password and user name(and I enter everything key by key with capslock off) it doesn't always go through. Just a little annoying feature for me, since I'm still setting up my wifi router.
One thing I do love is the spellcheck, which I never could get to work in Opera 9.52

That remark was taken not from the article but from a comment! The article didn't include it...The discovery of a poorly worded EULA was openly discussed and the Chrome team responded that in setting the EULA they copied and pasted from another EULA and didn't realise that the particular wording was included. It was promply changed. and removed so as to be reworded to protect your personal information!
I have been using Chrome and find it quite fast. There are some issues with the Java plug in though....something kind of expected as with any beta program.
