Hi folks,

I've been using the website www.disboards.com for many months now and never had a problem but since yesterday morning I cannot access it. smashcomp.gif

I have no problem getting into any other website. I haven't changed any settings or done anything unusual to bring this problem about. I was using the website on Thursday night and it was fine and then on Fri morning I can't get access. I've no idea why.

I'm using Internet Explorer 5 for Mac (OS 9) but I also have Netscape 7 and I can't access it from there either. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Deb

Hi Deb

I have just accessed it with no problem at all. I have IE 6.

Maybe it was down for a while. It happens.

Try accessing it now, and tell us what, if any, error messages you receive.
Thanks.
John

Thanks so much for the replies Scarlett and jgweed. I was *just* able to access it and went to their Technical board and it turns out lots of people were having trouble and, like me, have just managed to get back in - don't know what the common denominator is/was (some international and some U.S. users; some Mac, some PC - I'm sure there's one thing we all had in common).

Thanks again! It's great to know that this board exists!!

I suspect there was a problem with the server. This sometimes happens and prevents site access until it is fixed.
Regards,
John

Yes, they say it was a server problem John, thank you.

Scarlett, thanks for the welcome, I suspect I'll be posting again, what with my temperamental old Mac and all! rolleyes.gif
