I mean there isn't a thing open except the Nero Application.

Can you include a copy of your running processes? You can view them in task manager or you can use HJT to show you whats running. There may be a program using the drive. Note: Don't post a HJT log only the running process log. Not sure how to use Trend Micro Hijack this. HJT Process list Tutorial is found here

Sneakycyber,

Will check into that, . . . concerning Task Manager, looking at the processes, I am assuming the way to see running processes is to sort of stare at the list, since, intermittently, a zero may change to a number in the CPU column. correct ? That would mean this process is running, correct ? I mean there appears to be processes that appear to be zero then it changes, some seem to have a sequence that is irregular.
