-When I backspace type in the address bar it is delayed, Like this I backspace 10 spaces and it takes 20 seconds. Then I close the window because I'm Aggrivated and open a new IE window and everything is fine. Is there something wrong with my IE6 or is it with my dialup connection. Also something weird Problems with Hotsync with Avantgo (palmt5) When I Hotsync with Avantgo, it says " connection successful with avantgo" then there is no internet activity and I have no Channels and hotsync freezes and AMD64 is running at 100% Info- Computer built by me,my 1st. Hi Jeff,
I'm not sure what your problem is but there are some basic things you should check: Is your Anti-virus program current and updated? If not you can download a free anti-virus program here (US Link): AVG Free When you have downloaded and installed it you need to go online to register it and update it. (It will probably prompt you to do this.) Once you have installed AVG uninstall your old Anti-Virus software. Do you have any anti-spyware installed? If not download and update all of the following:
If you are not sure how to boot in Safe Mode there is a tutorial here: Safe Mode See if that helps -------------------- Soltek QBIC, Pentium 4 3.0GHz, 512MB RAM, 200GB SATA HDD, ATI Radeon 9600XT 256MB, Netgear 54Mb/s WAP, ridiculously expensive Satellite Broadband Windows XP Home SP2, Trend Micro Internet Security, Firefox, Thunderbird, AdAwareSE, Spybot S&D, SpywareBlaster, A-squared Free, Ewido Security Suite. |

I agree with rimmer and suggest that you do a virus scan and maybe even a hijackthis. You might also want to try Mozilla Firefox as you Browser(its Free). (PM me if you want more info on Mozilla Firefox.)
