Hello,

I have an SD card which does not appear in My Computer when i put it in my computers card reader. When I open up the computer management console, the drive still does not show, but it appears as unreadable.

Is there any way of this SD card being able to be formatted so that it is in a readable and useable state?

Thanks,

Stuart

Don't you mean it DOES show?
In what device is the card being used?

When I go to look at the devices in Computer Management it shows the SD card as media with either the number 1 or 3 ( I checked it twice), and for the drive G: it said "undreadable" under it. It is being used in the computers internal SD card reader.

I meant, what was the card being used for? A camera, MP3 player, etc.
If it came out of a camera, try formatting using the camera
