I've been reading the other threads regarding AVG users having trouble downloading updates. I've been experiencing the same problem for two days now. I understand how to update manually, but I have a question regarding the procedure.

Here is the page where the updates can be found: http://free.avg.com/ww.download-update

My question: I see four files, the last two having identical descriptions. Which one(s) should I be downloading and installing?

Thank you to all who take the time to reply.

ALSO: For those who may not know: Save the file in a folder of your choice. Then, click on "Tools" at the top of your AVG program. Select "Update from directory...", and navigate to the location that you saved the update file.

UPDATE: It was easy to assume that I was experiencing the same issue as read in other threads. It turns out that that wasn't the case. My Comodo firewall was blocking AVG from Internet access to obtain updates. I've been using both Comodo and AVG for quite some time now, and I don't know what caused the change. If others are still unable to update AVG, and also use the Comodo firewall, I recommend looking into it.

Quite Honestly, I have been using AVG Free for Years.

There was a Problem with AVG Free 8 at first that was easily fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling it again, but nothing since from here. Except for one instance, well Documented, a few weeks ago, that AVG fixed up without any input from me. All Updates have gone smoothly since.
