I installed SP1 a few days ago and I've started seeing a lot of Host Process for Windows has stopped working errors. I looked in my event viewer and this is what it said:

Quote

Faulting application svchost.exe_nsi, version 6.0.6001.18000, time stamp 0x47919291, faulting module netprofm.dll_unloaded, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x4791ad84, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x000007fef7a438a3, process id 0x1364, application start time 0x01c906be68de1d27.

Also, after receiving these errors I am unable to obtain and IP address, when doing an ipconfig /renew it tells me Windows cannot find the file specified. I had none of these problems prior to installing SP1. Any help would be great

Thanks in advance
-Jake

The problems center around networking. This forum user seems to have similar problems, I'm not sure if their solution worked. If that fails, I suggest uninstalling SP1 and installing the standalone from Microsoft here.
