I installed MS wireless laser mouse 5000. Mouse works fine but is seems to have disabled my keyboard. I reinstalled my old optic mouse and everything works fine. Is there a conflict between the new laser mouse and my wireless keyboard?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Software/driver conflicts happen...your current evidence seems to support your thinking...but it could be something else.

I'd uninstall both devices...reinstall them with new/current drivers...and see what happens.

I'd also check Event Viewer for possible clues in other directions.
