Well ive brought a new vista computer, and connections are all set up right, and i only have 2-3 bars of signal, then randomly it will just disconnect then take about 10-15 mins to connect back, with low signal it takes ages to connect to a site, loading to slow, i cant move my router any higher as it downstairs and has to be near a phone line.

Any chance you have a wireless phone by the router? If so see how the connection performs while someone is on the phone.

My router is very close to my phone, but i dont think the phone is wireless and the router is wireless it self.

Also i have a Red x in my local area connection. On my network settings.

How far away are you from your wireless router? Do you have any cordless phones at all?

I moved it up a bit higher, and there was more signal to connect.
