I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 running Vista Home Premium and a Dual-Core Processor. I just upgraded to 2 Gig of memory (from 1 gig) and it's only showing 54% Physical Memory in the task manager with 62 processes running. Shouldn't I have more than 54% free memory with 2 gig?. Also what is the norm for number of processes running for Vista??

From what I see here, I guess I'm not too bad at 54% and 62 processes. There are probably a few that I can stop running and get the count lower.

You can cut down some of the service processes by following these suggestions:
