Hello,

Recently purchased a new Toshiba laptop with Vista Home Premium. I went into control panel and uninstalled an unneeded program without issue, however the desktop icon for it remains. When I try to right click the icon to delete it, it says it cannot locate the program file and cannot remove the icon. Is there another way to remove the icon?

Have you tried to delete it in safe mode? Will it drag to the recycle bin?

Well, lo and behold, it magically was gone when I went online earlier today. Not sure where it went, but problem resolved!
