Hi everyone

I have xp and vista install as dual boot. Currently I am having problem with vista and unable to login, however xp is working fine. I would like to set xp as default operating system. Is it possible to edit boot.ini in xp to make the changes? I have previously changed default operating system using boot.ini but never with vista. Here is my boot.ini configuration setting. Could anyone please help me make the necessary changes? Thanks

Hmmm...you may need to post in the Vista section of this website, rather than here in XP-Land.

A number of us have never ventured into Vista-Land sufficiently to answer your question.

As I understand it, you'll need to delete the Vista boot files and then run fixmbr and fixboot from the Recovery Console. But I haven't done this myself, so I'd check out Google for other opinions.
