My vista laptop is a year old.

Occasionally it shuts down slowly. When that happens when I restart computer a blue screen flashes and then a black screen asking me if I want to start it in safe mode or normal mode.

I click normal mode.

The black screen appears and the system reappears with the same problem.

I have AVG, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, lavasoft and Rogue remover on my system. None of it has found any virus.

Where do I start with solving this problem.

Thanks in advance.

When the screen comes up that asks you to start in Safe or normal mode, there'll be something in the list that states "Disable automatic restart..." or something similar. Select that and wait for the next Blue Screen. Other ways to do it can be found at this link: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic74644.html

The computer will stop at the Blue Screen so you can copy down the info we need. Here's a link that'll tell you what we need: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/top...tml#entry409491
