Hey Guys

I am currently trying to transfer over 20 GB data to my other PC in a Direct Ethernet connection between both computers ( No Router ) using a brand new Belkin Cat 5e Ethernet cable, Basically I have a main Computer and it has dual Ethernet ports and I have a Wireless PCI-E Card.
I am using my main computer as a gateway and let my other machine connect via Ethernet to have internet access on both Machines ... Anyways I am trying to transfer data but its REALLY slow I am only transferring about a gig at a time and its saying 100 minutes what could be causing limitation on data transfer between the Ethernet ?

And thanks in Advance

If both PCs are connected directly together via an ethernet cable you should get a higher througput. Network cards will generally (unless they are super old) transfer at 100MB/s or more. I'm not sure if ICS would hamper your connection speeds between the PCs or not. Invest in a cheap switch or router with a built in switch. They're cheap enough now it should be a no brainer.
