Well...if you've been deleting items in the registry...any number of issues could be wrong.
I would suggest, as an initial step, running sfc /scannow or doing a repair install of XP...in an effort to eliminate O/S possibilities. FWIW: The STOP errors you reported all seem to be indicative of memory problems/situations. Did you run Memtest in an attempt to eliminate that from consideration? On this system, running Memtest for 1 complete pass takes about 2hr45min. The minimum amount of time I would suggest to run the tests would be about an hour. As I mentioned, I only deleted Razer specific registry keys and only because the uninstall did not get them all.
I will try running the things above and see what happens. |

I ran sfc /scannow, it ran, but finished while I was out of the room...there was no report or anything on my screen. I also ran Memtest, and it passed without any errors.

Let's simplify...how does the system behave with a normal plain vanilla mouse?

In the previous thread I tried uninstalling the razer mouse and putting my old mouse back on. I ran the Razer uninstall, and it was still crashing, but as uninstalls typically do, it left stuff in the registry. From the Razer forums, I found which registry keys to delete, and it was still crashing. Then I tried installing the Razer mouse with the most updated driver, and it was still crashing.

OK...I'll try one more time...how does the system behave with a plain vanilla mouse?
That should answer the title of your thread. Louis |

Sorry...I didn't interpret "my old mouse" as a plain vanilla mouse.
As for determining the cause of the crashes, all that I can recommend is: a. Disable Auto Reboot On System Crash - http://www.theeldergeek.com/auto_reboot_on_system_crash.htm b. How To Use Event Viewer - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic40108.html Hopefully, those two steps will allow some useful information about these problems to be obtained via error messages which are summarized in Event Viewer. Trying to troubleshoot crashes...without anything pointing the way...is futile, IMO. Louis |

I have the Instant Restart disabled, here was my most recent error
IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL the adresses were 0x0000000A (0x00000033,0x000000FF,0x00000001,0x805432E5) I've gotten the IRQL error before, but it's not nearly as common as the page fault one. |

Alright I took a look at the event viewer.
The most notable error I saw was MRXSMB, which was all over the place, and says something about The master browser has received a server announcement from my roommate's computer that believes that it is the master browser for the domain ... The master browser is stopping or an election is being forced. Could this be the problem? |

That browser error is common...I get it all the time with my two computers.
The first browser of a network...to connect to the Internet...is accorded Master Browser status. This is on a daily basis. If that same browser does not happen to be the first browser to connect after both have been offline...you get that error. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechn...7.mspx?mfr=true The IRQL error is common and, IMO, difficult to troubleshoot. The only other error I've been getting a lot is the actual "System Error" which basically just shows what was on the BSOD.
A couple times, previous crashes have mentioned the eamon.sys file. Know anything about that? Thanks for the help! Jason |

Yeah that doesn't help a ton...Plus none of my crashes recently have listed that file.
Are there any other programs I can run or anything that will help repair it or diagnose what the problem is? |
