When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix logs. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Hi All! I have Windows XP on my computer. I am using Protector Plus for my antivirus and have been very pleased with it's performance. I was using AdAware for my spyware protection and still got infected via an e-mail from a friend with Antivirus XP 2008 a week ago. I've downloaded Spybot S&D and Malware Bytes. I've run scans for the last week til I'm blue in the face. Spybot tells me after each scan that I still have Malware on the computer. AdAware will run a clean scan showing nothing on it. I'm now afraid to open any e-mails for fear some fool out there is watching and be able to access my accounts. I just want this junk out of my computer and be secured with good Spyware/Malware protection. I am not very computer saavy therefore it's not easy for me to diagnose and fix problems on my own. I am depending on software to do this for me. Any advice?
Thank you in advance.
