I have a large .pdf document that I need to cut and paste text from and insert in another document that is not .pdf. I have tried Castlepaste, Swift paste, and Fox It to no avail. Is there another way to do this? I apologize if this is an old topic. I tried the search feature of the forum but it said "error" as the words cut and pdf were less than 4 letters.

Instead of cut and paste, have you tried COPY paste?
Highlight the text, right click, choose Copy.
Paste into your new document.
Highlight the text, right click, choose Copy.
Paste into your new document.

Copy and Paste is not an option. There are no options when I try to left click and drag the text. The person who made the .pdf died so we will never know what security was added.

What cursor are you using? is it the hand? If so, it doesn't allow for selecting of text.
