Hello everybody.

I just finished a 13 min movie on adobe premiere and i exported it. The problem is that it's size is 2.7 GB.... it's type is video clip.
What i want to know is :' can i change the exported file format so that it takes less space? '

You can only change the file size due to the way tht you export the file. You cn choose different formats to export to. I think these are *.avi or *.mpg or any other divx format output. in my experience avi is the largest file size export as it contains the least amount of compression but gives best quality. It is down to you which you pick but each has different quality output levels.

let's consider an alternative.. can i convert the movie to flv format?

flv wouldn't be my first choice. For universal playback in windows and a small footprint, .wmv would be better and is natively supported in premier.
What version of premier are you using?

good question.. i have the adobe premier 1.5 ( yeah not the newest )

I believe import\export file formats supported should be close to the link I left you. I don't see flv listed and flash files can be problematic for some. You should have a convert\batch convert option in your premier menus somewhere.
Might sound old fashioned but the steps should also be in premiers help menu.
