Can a Admin\Mod please move this if its in the wrong forum, cheers.

Is is possible to get a faster click, i play a game and you sorta need a quick click to pick up the object before anyone else does they say have a good IP is good to get a quicker click and some people say you need a good internet.

Any suggestions\ideas\tweaks to make my mouse click to speed quicker like 0.1 seconds i think mine is around 0.265

Heres the link of the site witch you can test it on.

So I'm assuming you already went into the mouse properties in Control Panel. I believe it's more in the mechanical action and sensitivity of the micro-switches in the mouse. They do make special mice for gamers

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

That site is for testing user reflexes, it has little to nothing to do with internet speed.

Have you performed online speed tests to check your connection?
Do you perform cleanup and defragmenting of the system?
Regards,

Alan.

Those speed results are a bit low. What internet package are you getting from your ISP?

Alan.

That window only displays statistics of your network device.

status connected
you have been online for 3 hours
speed will be capped an 100MBs
and the ammount of packets sent and received.

When you purchased your connection from your ISP, did you get a MB connection or a KB connection?

For example I'm on an 8MB connection.
Regards,

Alan.

You should have received some paperwork from your ISP about the connection, You should have an acount with them, you may need to contact them asking for details on your acount.

Alan.

That is a problem, you could try ringing the ISP and ask them if they can reset the pasword.

Alan.

A faaster click
  • A new mouse may be needed
  • Clear away dirt from the mouse and pad.
  • Make sure the there is nothing in the way of the mouse
Speed up the system
  • Disable unneeded services,
  • Close programs not needed while using the game.
  • New hardware may be needed for smoother performance
  • Disk cleanup and defraging the drive will improve performance
The above are what you can do to the system to speed up slightly, but also the click will only be as fast as as the person doing the clicking.
Regards,

Alan.
