Hello hoopman,

48MB of updates is a lot, however the size of the Hard disk would play an important part in this situation. If the system has a good sized drive and is cleaned regularly there shouldn't be a problem.

  1. Go Start
  2. Click on My Computer
  3. Right-Click to your main hardrive (usually C:)
  4. Click on Properties in the menu that appears
  5. In the window that appears you will see the total hard drive usage.

Thanks Powerjuce.
The hard drive capacity is 37.1GB
Used Space is 11.9GB
Free Space 25.2Gb

Do you think that might be enough?

48Megs worth of updates isnt all that uncommon with Windows. I have seen updates exceeding 450Megs before, and that included office and OS Updates. What happens with the updates, is that the older files are replaced with the newer files, and an uninstall folder is created.
