I have Vista Ultimate on two computers and, despite what is so often said, I like the program. But on one of the two, the snipping tool captures the screen, but will not save the capture. Thus I suppose that there is a corruption in the file. However, I find no way to fix that corrupted file listed on the Internet. I don't want to reinstall Vista just for that (and besides it was already on the new laptop when I bought it).

Can anyone help? whistling.gif

I heard that if you remove or disable the services for Tablets then the snip tool doesn't work. But you could try doing a repair install of vista so you wont lose your files.
