I am having a problem viewing any sent message after July 31st. I will send items but cannot see them in my sent folder. I know they are sent because I get replies to them. I have looked at everything (dates and everything in the sent folder) and can't find where they are going. Can someone tell me how to find them?

Make sure that Save copies of messages in Sent Items folder is checked.

Open Outlook.

On the Tools menu, click Options.
On the Preferences tab, click E-mail Options.
Under Message handling, select the Save copies of messages in Sent Items folder check box if it's unchecked.

Hi wmcotton, welcome to BC.
As strange as it sounds, copies of the original messages you sent may have met the junk mail criteria for your inbox folder.
Look in the junk mail folder and all the other folders as well. At Tools>Options>Junk E-Mail, select "No Automatic Filtering" and make sure "Permanently delete junk mail" is not selected at the bottom.
If everythings good there, at the main outlook window, click View>ArrangeBy>Current View. Make sure "Messages" is the only option selected there.
Let us know what you come up with. It's possible you may have a corrupt folder as well.

Recheck your View settings for the Sent Items folder to make sure there are no filters being applied.
