Here's my situation:

Today I reinstalled windows because it was giving me problems, reinstalled some programs, recovered backed up documents etc. However, I still need to activate windows, but I can't. The product ID shown in my "System" panel is "invalid for activation," and when I try to change it, I cant do that either. I cant change it because (and I forgot to mention, I made this computer so its an OEM version of Vista) the product ID on the sticker that is supposed to go on your case is no longer valid because when I got a new motherboard, I had to call to activate windows. So I guess the question is, who do I call to get a new product ID, and what information do I need to tell them?

Sorry for the longish post but thank in advance
