I need help finding a new desktop computer to buy from Dell, and it should have at least these requirements:
3 GB RAM+
Intel 2 Duo Core 2.4 GHz+
320 GB HD+
Windows Vista-XP Pro loaded
Decent graphics card
Monitor optional but will get if not too expensive
Decent optical drive
I have a budget of maybe 700-$800 USD. Please help me =(
I also have a question. What does the modem and wireless icon when you are customizing a computer do? The options are no modem option, 56k PCI data fax modem, etc etc.

what will you be doing that requires a graphics card? Will you be gaming, and if so, will you be playing new games? Dell doesn't have good price/selection on graphics cards. It would be a lot cheaper to buy a system and put your own in.

a 56k modem is if you want to hook your computer up to a phone line. If you have cable or DSL internet, you shouldn't need one.

Dell doesn't have very good selections on their budget computers. If you got their cheapest computer and customized it to the specs you listed, you would be at about $700. Their choice of graphics cards, as sterling mentioned, is terrible.
