Do you get any error messages or just unable to connect?
There's a good chance the sub-domain is not on the same server as the main page. If you can reach every other site except that one I would guess that they are having issues with the server. -------------------- |

But they aren't having server issues, because using another computer to connect to the site and it works. So it has to be something with the computer or something.

Just a wild guess but it could be your security settings.

Security settings, I don't believe I've changed anything because it started happening yesterday, a couple of weeks after a clean install. What should I check to see, I also could check and see if avast! has anything to do with it.

Anyone?
I forgot one thing, every once in a while the site loads and I can use it normally, then all of the sudden if becomes unreachable again. Does this sound familar? This post has been edited by captsparrow: Aug 9 2008, 04:34 PM |

I've come up with a theory. When I go to Network Connections, it has two items, one under 'Internet Connections' and the other under LAN networks. I think I might have accidentally selected the wrong item when I installed XP, selecting direct connection to Internet instead of through a LAN, it is possible to reverse this and remove that direct connection and connected through the LAN? I feel this might be the problem.
