I haven't owned a console since PS2, so I may have no input, but for me MGS for the PS2 and Super Mario 64 have to be up there. I'm interested to hear the votes, since my Christmas present from the wife is a PS3! Have at it! :thumbsup:

Halo 3, I haven't stopped playing it since it came out! It's only for Xbox 360 though, not PS3. :thumbsup:

It's controversial but the best game on a console I ever had (and pipping Sonic The Hedgehog to the title) is Flipnic for the PS2.

I know it's just a 3D pinball game but it's beautifully programmed with brilliant level designs and cool minigames and the premise that you are defending the "table" from marauding UFOs is set off nicely with the slightly crazed voiceovers. It's playable, fun and addictive.

All the things that real pinball is not.

For me it has to be a tossup...

Final Fantasy II (US = IV in Japan) on the SNES
Final Fantasy III (So awesome!!!) Best end fight ever!!! on the SNES again.
Chrono Trigger...

In more recent history...

Suikoden I and II for the PSX.

Oooh.. A very hard subject for me, considering I love all games. BUt uh.. Final Fantasy 7 and X were right up there along with Doom 3 And Like.. The first Quake.. Sorry but the quake guys funny faces in the first one are hilarious.. Maybe that doesn't make it the best though.. ANd as for Halo 3..? Whats the difference between that one and 2 & 1?.. Anyone care to answer.. AND DON'T SAY VEHICLES AND WEAPONS. Those are just add-ons.
If I could float to space, I would... But instead I'm stuck in cyber space.. And its killing me. X_X;

i got to give my most memorable game to "legend of the dragoon" for ps1. it will forever have a place in my heart.
for current consoles though... i would have to say Halo 3 for multiplayer and army of 2 for single player. both games r for x360.

I think I have to say it was "Ninja Gaiden" NES I believe. The only game I could not beat.

My choice would have to be Resident Evil directors cut for the original playstation beat it 14 times, I liked the game better once you beat it and get the revolver with unlimited ammo only to get oh so sweet sound of blowing the heads off of the zombies.
