The stupid thing is back and can't get rid of it by closing or ending task. It just won't let me. The only way for me to get rid of it is to turn off certain things on the start up. But I don't know why they are causing the problem.

The start up things I disabled are:

hp digital imaging all in one files
HpqSRmon application
hp quick play

I haven't pinpointed which particular file (s) are causing the problem yet. but did manage to narrow it down alittle.

What do I do? I am not familiar with this computer.

Autoruns and Process Explorer should give you a better idea of what, if anything, is trying to run in the backround
