I am having a problem with IE and javascript. I am not sure what has happened as web pages which I could previously view okay, I am now having problems with. For example, on the MLB websites, the pages don't look like they used to and where java is used eg to purchase tickets, when I click, nothing happens. Any thoughts? |

Java and javascript are 2 different things.
from BC's Glossary Java A programming language created by Sun Microsystems. The great advantage to this language is that source code for java programs can be easily made to run on multiple operating systems with little effort. Java Script A java script is a small java program embedded in a web page that you may visit. The instructs contained in the java script are executed on the computer running it, rather than being executed by the web server itself. Try Clearing the Java cache How do I clear the Java cache? And be sure you have the lates version of Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE) Version Number: 6.0 Update 7 updated 7/09/08 Older versions have vulnerabilities that malicious sites can use to exploit and infect your system. Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune & save it to your desktop.

Just fror the sake of it as I am out of ideas on the main issue. Have you recently scanned for malware? When was the last time the Hard Drive was defragmented?
