Okay, So I am pretty new at all of this but here is my issue: I have been using a Cintre Z Disc External Hard Drive for the last year. However, I recently took it out of my laptop and put it on my desktop and now I can't get it recognized on either machine. On my laptop it just keeps saying device unknown and I tried to update the driver and went through all of the troubleshooting things suggested on windows, to no avail. Now, when I plug it into my desktop which I am running Vista on, it says Code 10 - device cannot start and in the device manager it has mass usb storage device with the big yellow exclamation point. I have tried to find a new driver for it but haven't had any luck so far. As I said I'm not the most computer literate person so I have just about had it and have no idea what I should be looking at...any suggestions out there as to what I could try?

Thanks so much in advance! hysterical.gif

With the device unplugged, remove the USB mass storage device from Device Manager. Reboot the computer and let Windows reinstall it
