Reliability Monitior And Event Log Errors

Still trying to get mom's laptop working right. Need some help. Couldn't open IE this morning on the first try. Checked the reliability monitor. Had application failures Explorer.EXE listed the last couple days. Before that it was iexplore.exe In the Event log I had a critical error Kernel-Power event id 41 listed for today.

I think windows installer issue has been resolved. Still looking into that trying to make sure she'll be able to download and install upgrades.
