Hi I am new here and sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I got a new comp, and its not doing as well as it should.
Here are the 3D mark Vantage results.

http://service.futuremark.com/result...&resultType=19

It is doing about 1/3 as well as it should (compared to similar systems, my score is 4832, similar systems are 12870).

Here is another thing I looked into. BiosAgentPlus.

http://biosagentplus.com/results.php?ref=32jzglz

I am not sure how to upgrade some of those drivers.
I think I need to upgrade my bios to (0601 I think) but I am not sure how and too paranoid to try.
I do not have any viruses or spyware. I have defragged, disk cleaned, registry checked, etc.

Not sure what the problem is..Only visible problem I have encountered is that my ASUS AI Suite AI Gear 3 settings are messed up. When I try to calibrate for Auto Mode my comp freezes and restarts. I have the latest version of AI Suite.

If you can, please don't tell me to uninstall something and delete all folders and then try again, cause I probably have.
Thanks for any help.

I attached system info..if it helps..

Just a few quick notes:
1.The URL you have for your vantage tests is incomplete
2.I can't see you system specs which were attached

It's really hard to tell why your system is not performing well. It is possible that you only failed on the HD and CD ROM read/write tests, which could bring your whole system's performance down. Reason?
HD: If you are downloading something from the internet, or anything that writes to and from the hard drive, you will slow it down and get a lower score on the HD test.
CD:The best way to test the speed of your CD drive is to get a test CD which basically contains one file that fills up the whole CD. A CD ROM drive reads 750MB of small text files slower than it reads a 750MB movie file, because of the way the CD is read in terms of tracks.

Yes, that's a lot better.. thanks

Looking at it now, it really doesn't help at all. The results are way too vague to try and pinpoint where the problem is.

Best way to do this now is to take a look at your full computer specs (seeing your processor and GPU, you seem to have a solid build). Post them here please :flowers:
