Problem While Saving Word 2003 File

hi
I am using XP, MS office 2003.
my problem is whenever i opening any word file & editing it , while saving everytime it ask for path to save. it is not automatically saving the existing file.
please give me somr solution to enable auto save.

Please, make it more clear for me - do you use Save or Save As command?

If you click 'Save', it should just save to the original document. If you are clicking 'Save As', then yes- it will ask you where you want to save, etc.
