BleepingComputer.com: Slax Wireless Broadcom

I can't connect to wireless. I have to up the card on through the konsole to turn it on, and that is if it is even detected which is hit or miss. It has a little bit of signal but can't see any of the networks and constantly turns off by itself. Here is a picture. I have tried using the default broadcom bcm43xx driver, and the windows one through ndiswrapper. I have tried extracting the firmware for my card with fwcutter, but the commands "make" and "sudo" aren't recognized. Here is a screenshot:

It looks like it is just not strong enough to connect to my wireless router which is only a few feet away. I know it is strong enough because I am on a wireless connection in windows right now.
