I have an audio file that im trying to transfer to my mp3 player. when i click to transfer the file i get an error message that says "unsupported format. MPEG 2.5 data"

i have no idea what this means or how to fix it. ive never had a problem with anything like this before.

and if it helps my mp3 player is a toshiba gigabeat megf20 model.

It's saying that the format (type of file) of the file is not compatible with your player.
You would have to convert it to a format that your player can use, such as .mp3

Check out the Freeware Replacements For Common Commercial Apps topic, under the Audio Applications heading, in Post #3.
You might find a program in there that can convert it for you.
