Can't load software not working

When I put in a cd to load software nothing happens, when I go to add and remove software and click on install it starts but ends up with the box to enter a command line for installton. I don't know what ot put and it does not help to hit the browes button, can someone help ? path :thumbsup:

First, a link that tells you how to enable autorun. When you put in a CD it should start automatically. Enable Autorun

Then, another method to start the software: Go to Start -> Run and then click on the Browse button. Then find your CD-Rom, then find a file in the CD that says "Setup" with a picture of a little monitor or something like that. Double-click on it and it should start the CD running.
