What is the causes of line on your screen?

first, try uninstalling and reinstalling with the latest video drivers. if that doesn't work, it could be the video card. i'm assuming you are talking notebook here, so try plugging in an external display and see if the lines show up on that. if they do, it could be your onboard video card going. if not, it could just be the notebook monitor. either way, could be time for a new one if you don't have warranty.

No I don't have that, I am wondering what causes that?
Mine is a HPvs17e monitor and I just bought it on May 5 and nothing is wrong with it .
I am wondering what are the causes.

in your pictures how many computers are there,,,, i see 3 i think,,, a dell a toshiba and a quasimodo,,,lol,,, all 3 laptops,,, so they all cant have the same defective video card or the same monitor problem or the same driver problem,,,, can you give us more info.

I'd suspect either an issue with the LCD or with the connections between the monitor and the laptop. That'll require taking the case apart - and maybe replacing some of the parts.

The definitive test, IMO, would be to hook these systems up to an external monitor. If the lines don't show on the external monitor, then they're a hardware problem with your laptop.
