You should have one newbie page to introduce them to the wonderful world of parasites. Sort of like this page.
I would like you to also include a tutorial on Spyware Block List file
I send that one page to everyone, sort of like a "one stop shopping" page.

that is a good resource but I do not think it is as newbified as you would like. Let me know if you think that is ok or if you want something more directed towards a basic computer user.

IMHO, it is overkill for a newbie. I like to KISS (keep it simple stu***) when dealing with inexperienced users. I find the page I sent you to be (nearly) bitesized, as in "try one per night for one week". IMHO, too much information is no better than not enough!
