Hi
Sorry if this has already been covered - I've scanned the various topics already but can't find the same problem described.
Basically, when I turn on my Acer laptop, I get the Acer white screen, then the Windows loading screen with the scrolling lights, followed by the Windows 'splash screen'. I then get a green screen with the words 'Please wait' in the centre, and the Windows Vista logos at the bottom. After about 20 seconds, the computer 'clicks and whirs' a couple of times, then restarts. Each time the same thing happens.
I've attempted to boot up in safe mode, without success - I have 2 user accounts on my laptop - one is named and has no password, and the other is the admin accound, which is pasword protected - when booting in safe mode, I get the login screen, where it asks me for a password for my named accound, and won't let me log in with either account.
Can anyone advise?
Many thanks in advance
