I have not been able to find a post yet that addresses a question I have relating to add-ons. Specifically, I am wondering why my computer has three (3) versions of the same Active X Control enabled and what impact if any this may have on my sluggish internet connection. The Active X Control I'm referring to is Java Plug-in 1.6.0 with a file extention / name of npjpil60.dll. Is it OK to disable two (2) of the three (3) controls / files? Will I see any difference in performance afterward?
Thanks in advance for any response.

Hello KLK0274 and welcome.
That version of Java is slightly out of date and as such can be a security problem. I would suggest that you uninstall theversion of Java and install the latest version. http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp
