Fraps Trouble

hello! i have a problem with a recording program called Fraps. some of you may know this program. well, when I am done recording a video, i go into the location where the video was saved, but the problem is that the video is only a few seconds long when it should have been almost a minute and when i try to open it with windows media player it says "windows media player has stopped working". please help me fix this problem so i can watch the video and so i can post the video online, etc! thanks!
