Hi there, I recently downloaded win doctor version 1.7 & I done a scan on the system security section & done a repair when it finished.
Now when i go msconfig & click on start up theres nothing starting up, But on my system tray my Mcafee icon is there, even though it says its been deleted from my start up. Any ideas ???

While I'm not familiar with the Win Doctor program, try going to Start → All Programs → Windows Defender → Tools → Software Explorer to see what's enabled/disabled.

If this doesn't provide enough information, then I'd suggest this free program to check your Startups: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysintern...s/Autoruns.mspx
